  • Women’s health (specifically as it relates to pregnancy and birth)
  • School health
  • Online learning and instructional design

 My focus is teaching. My goal is to provide students with meaningful instruction and prepare them for whatever comes next (the next class in the sequence or their future careers…). In addition to working at Texas State, I am a childbirth educator and the Director of Education for the International Childbirth Education Association.
