Programmatic Overview

The Professional Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training at Texas State University is a two-year, master’s program preparing students to enter the profession of athletic training by passing the board of certification (BOC) examination after completion of this degree.

All graduate students are required to engage in a research process, via their capstone project.  This is a 55 credit hour program each new cohort begins in June each year.
