Lunges

Fun Integrated Teen Training for 240 minutes!

Come join Texas State University's certified personal trainers for an intense 4-weeks designed to get you in better shape for your fall sport. We will specifically focus on safety and progression.

This 4-week program for young men and women ages 12-18 provides valuable training and education for the active teen as well as the competitive athlete. Individualized sports specific fitness training, strength and conditioning, quickness and agility, balance and flexibility, nutrition, and team building are the focus of the camp.

Needless to say, a primary component of our days is FUN!

This program is led by Certified Personal Trainers who utilize state of the art training designs.

Any teen will gain valuable experience, knowledge and skill from our program. No matter your training background or current level of fitness, our trainers can help you achieve your goals. Whether you want to run faster or longer, jump higher, become stronger, increase your muscle mass, become more competitive, or shed some body fat, FITT240 is just what you need!

Those participants interested in maintaining and/or increasing conditioning during the off-season for the fall and winter sports will find this camp particularly beneficial!

Concentration

Dates and Times

The training session runs from July 8 - August 1, 2013 and meets from 8 AM to 12 PM, Monday through Thursday, at Jowers Center on the Texas State campus in San Marcos. Participants may be dropped off as early as 7:30AM and picked up as late as 12:30PM.

What to bring and wear

Participants should come dressed in workout shorts, T-shirts and tennis shoes. Activities will take place both indoors and outdoors. Sunscreen, a water bottle and a hand towel are recommended. Water fountains are available for refills.

Location and Drop-Off

Jowers Center is located on the Texas State University campus.

Driving directions:

  1. Exit 206, Aquarena Drive from IH-35
  2. Turn left on Charles Austin Drive
  3. Take a right onto Jowers Access Road (immediately before the railroad tracks)
  4. Continue down access road, where FITT240 staff will be waiting on the right.

Parking

All participants must comply with Texas State University's parking services policies and procedures.
